Philanthropy Chair - Otis Amick
Otis is a freshman studying mechanical engineering. He currently serves as the Philanthropy Chair for ESC, where he manages community outreach and volunteering opportunities for the organization. Publicity Chair - Ruben Verhagen
Ruben is a sophomore mechanical engineering student pursuing a certificate in innovation, product design, and entrepreneurship. Outside of ESC, Ruben is the president of Pitt’s American Society of Mechanical Engineers, a brother in the professional engineering fraternity Theta Tau, and a mentor in Benedum’s B06 Makerspace. In his free time Ruben loves to play volleyball and ride his bike around Pittsburgh. He’s excited to spread the word about all the things ESC has to offer and hopes to create resources for the various clubs within Swanson. Events Chair - Jonathan Perlman
Jonathan is a junior studying mechanical engineering with certificates in innovation & entrepreneurship and mechanical simulations. Along with being in ESC, Jonathan is a brother of ZBT, co founded the engineering business administration, a member of ODK, the national honors leadership society, and participates on the chem-e car team. In Jonathan’s spare time, he enjoys painting up at pitt games, cooking, and getting this bread. E-Week Co-Chairs - Alex Enzman and Joe Koniszewski
Alex is a junior mechanical engineering student who is also minoring in economics. Alex is one of the E-Week co-chairs, and has been involved with ESC since his freshman year. He has also been involved in the service fraternity ESA. He is from Lancaster, PA, where he went to Manheim Township High School and earned his Eagle Scout. Currently, Alex is on co-op with Covestro. Joe is a junior mechanical engineering student who is also pursuing a certificate in engineering simulation in design. He is also the vice president of Pitt's club hurling team, the national sport of Ireland. He has played soccer his whole life and is still an avid soccer fan and exceptional FIFA player. Freshman Co-Chairs - Patrick Connor and Dan O'Neill
Patrick is a freshman engineer planning on studying electrical engineering. He is one of the freshman co-chairs in charge of freshman committee. In Patrick's spare time, he enjoys reading, hanging with friends, and exploring the city of Pittsburgh. If you’re ever looking for Patrick, he is most likely enjoying a bagel at Einstein’s in Benedum. Patrick is looking forward to increasing the size and diversity of ESC. Daniel O'Neill is an undeclared freshman engineering student at the University of Pittsburgh and an active member of the Engineering Student Council (ESC). Outside of his studies, his main interests include basketball, performance, and exercising. He is currently not involved in any clubs outside of ESC.
