Emails
ESC receives a lot of questions and requests to send out emails, so we compiled these common Q&As:
Q. Will you advertise this event to the general body members of ESC?
A. Yes! We’d be more than happy to mention your org’s event to our members, either posting it on our Facebook page, Twitter, or in an email. If you return the favor and advertise our events as well, that would be cool!
Q. Will you send this email to the other engineering orgs?
A. Probably. Keep in mind that we don’t want to flood everyone else’s emails with advertising for your bake sale, but for large events or something that relates to the other orgs, we’ll most likely forward on your email. Don’t forget that you can mention your events at Dean’s Council, and those minutes are sent out to every org afterwards.
Q. Will you send this email to the entire engineering school?
A. Unfortunately, no. Although we have access to the undergrad list, we try not abuse this privilege. We do send out the Enginews to every student each month, so if you have a big event coming up that you want everyone to know about, make sure you mention it in the blurb you submit. If you’d like an email sent to a specific department, you can ask that department’s undergrad admin.

Dean's Council
Dean’s Council is a time for representatives from each of our orgs to come together, discuss SSOE issues or concerns, collaborate, and eat free pizza. The Dean’s council is held once a month in Benedum 109. The specific dates and times of Dean’s council will be sent in an email at the beginning of the semester.
