Using the Shared Google Calendar
As a student organization, you have the ability of post your open events on the SSOE Master Calendar! This is a great way to share your events with the Swanson School. The calendar can also be viewed on our Calendar page.
Your organization's main email address should have been invited to use the shared SSOE Student Organization Master Calendar. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to be granted access. You can also create a separate Google Calendar to share with the members of your organization. If you’ve never used Google Calendar before, you can follow this step by step guide to creating an event.
Find Google Calendar
Click the apps icon. Then click the calendar icon.
Set it up
Make sure the SSOE Org Events Calendar box is selected. Change to Month View.
Create an Event
Click on the date of your event. Then click Edit event.
Fill in the details
Enter your event's name, location, and description. Include the name of your organization!
Time and Save
Uncheck the All day box and enter your event's start and end time. Don't forget to save!
